Untap AI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

Account Information
An account is not required to use the app or to purchase a subscription. If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address, which is stored securely via Firebase Authentication. You may also sign in with Google, in which case we receive only your email address and display name from Google.

Deck Data
Decks and cards you create are stored locally on your device. Your deck data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers unless you use a Pro feature that requires it, such as AI Coach or Complete Your Deck recommendations (see below).

Usage Data
We use Firebase to collect basic analytics such as crash reports and performance data. This helps us fix bugs and improve the app. This data is anonymized and not linked to your identity.

Purchase Information
Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and managed by RevenueCat. You do not need to create an account to subscribe — purchases can be made anonymously. We do not store or have access to your payment information. Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat and tied to your Apple ID. Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

AI Features (Pro only)
When you use AI Coach or the Complete Your Deck recommendations, your deck contents — including card names, types, and oracle text — are transmitted to our secure backend (Firebase Cloud Functions) and then to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate a personalized response. This data is used solely to produce your result and is not stored by us or Anthropic beyond the duration of the request. No personal information is included in these requests.

How We Use Your Information

Anonymous Use

You can use Untap AI, including purchasing a Pro subscription, without ever creating an account. If you purchase anonymously, your subscription is tied to your Apple ID. To sync your subscription and decks across multiple devices, you can optionally create a free account at any time.

Data Retention

If you have an account, you can delete it at any time from the Profile screen within the app. Upon deletion, your account information is permanently removed from our systems. Deck data stored locally on your device will remain until you uninstall the app. Subscription status is managed by Apple and RevenueCat independently of your account.

Children's Privacy

Untap AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at support@untapai.co.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. To make a request, contact us at support@untapai.co.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
